When I saw this picture, the first words to come out of my mouth were, "Oh my God.." It's very tragic and heart-breaking and it's sad to know that you can't really do anything to help these people that are facing something very crucial and catastrophic. The angle from this picture makes the ship/boat look very big and crates like a scary feeling to show how huge it is next to the houses and how big this earthquake was.
Like the lady up here, I also feel sad that I personally can't do anything to help these helpless, homeless, needy people. I think of the like kids in danger that probably have no where to sleep, nothing to eat, maybe sick. The photographer focuses mainly on this lady, sort of creating the cropping rule of photography.
I was speechless when I saw this photograph. I think you would be, too. This photo caught my attention because it shows the true powers of nature and how it shows no pity for anything in its way. This was a city before it was completely erased. The photographer used the viewpoint rule in this shot. Good scenery.
